Custom Orthotic Devices
Diagnostic, assessment, manufacturing of foot custom orthotics for deformities and disfunctions of the foot and ankle. We have orthotic designs for almost any condition or activity; whether it is a work boot, dress shoe (even high heels!), running shoe or a specialty sport such as skiing, we can build a device to get you back to the trail, workspace or dancefloor.
Over The Counter Orthotic Devices
We offer assessment and diagnostic including casting and bio-mechanical measurement. For those whose feet will be changing within a relatively short period of time, such as children, or temporary conditions such as pregnancy, sports injuries, or pre-operative relief, Over The Counter (OTC) foot and ankle orthoses may be a viable option. They are also a good alternative when custom orthoses are cost prohibitive.
Diabetic Footcare
At Pathway Pedorthic we also offer orthotics to address specific needs for conditions such as diabetic feet, as well as a foot wellness assessment, therapeutic shoes and other specialty products designed for the particular needs of the diabetic foot. The importance and results of correct care of the diabetic foot can be literally lifesaving.
Orthotic Refurbishments and Repairs
When your old orthotics start to fall apart, most of the time they can be repaired for a fraction of the original cost of new orthoses. Additionally, if your existing orthotics are causing you pain and do not function well, we specialize in troubleshooting your devices to find out why they are not correcting and helping your feet as they should.

Shoe Stretching and Modifications
Sometimes a good shoe won't accommodate your new orthotics, or developments in the shape of your feet. There are times when the corrections needed are best done on the exterior of the shoe. We provide both stretching and modification services (for those shoes that have the capacity to be modified) so that your good shoes won't go to waste.
Custom Built Orthotics
At Pathway Pedorthic Footcare we design and build custom orthotics based on foot exam, biomechanical measurements, assessment of patient’s health condition, diagnostic tests and lifestyle. Your custom orthotic are unique. They built just for your foot, from only top-quality materials, using highly experienced craftsmanship and innovative designs.
Orthotic Repairs and Replacements
Did you know that most of the orthoses that breakdown and are in need of repair can be refurbished back to their original specifications quickly and inexpensively? The soft materials that are a part of most orthoses, can delaminate, compress, or tear making the devices uncomfortable or unusable. Devices that have deteriorated through use can be brought back to their previous function by stripping it down to the core shell and replacing all of the soft components. We use only top quality, industry standard materials and top workmanship. If the orthotics have been serving you well and only need to be repaired, this can be done without a physicians referral in usually 1-2 days and at a fraction of the original cost. Rush service while you wait is available by appointment, with a small additional fee.
Orthotic devices, where the shell is fractured, can be replaced without going through the original procedure of casting and fabrication. Through a process called “Custom Copy” a new fabrication mould(s) can be made so that an orthotic shell can be fabricated to replace the original.
Additional pairs of orthoses can be conveniently and economically made for you during the time of a refurbishment. With the devices being stripped to the shell during this process, it is wise to consider ordering additional pairs of orthotic devices as back-up, for multi-shoe convenience or for dress shoes. Since it is easy to “Custom Copy” the shell at this time, additional devices can be offered at a significantly reduced price from original costs.
